Speech Pathologist

Jennifer is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Speech Pathology and Audiology and her Master’s degree from the University of Florida in Speech Pathology. Jennifer is fluent in Spanish. She spent a year living with a host family and studying Spanish at The University of Seville in Seville, Spain after graduation.

Jennifer has worked as a speech-language pathologist in the Palm Beach County school district for over 10 years. Initially, she performed assessments and provided remediation for speech and language impaired pre-school through fifth grade students.

She later served as a team member for initiating a pilot program for pre-school through fifth grade students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. She participated in developing guidelines, establishing student placement procedures, and creating a student in-take process. Responsibilities included working collaboratively with classroom teachers to develop individualized education plans and providing classroom-based therapy.

Jennifer began working with Dr. Savinelli at Therapeutic Connections in August 2009. During that time, her work focused on preschool and elementary school children who presented with a variety of communication disorders.

Currently, Jennifer works with Dr. Savinelli at the Center providing individual and group therapy. She utilizes her skills to work with children with articulation/phonological/motor speech disorders, language impairments, and social/pragmatic deficits. She enjoys collaborating with educators and the families of her clients in order to help them achieve their maximum potential.
